Because表示原因：I love cats because they are very clean.
So表示结果：People have pets so they feel better.

e.g. Eric is hardworking, but Danny is very lazy.
While Eric is funny, Danny is quite serious.
Danny’s bedroom is very messy. Eric’s, on the other hand, is very tidy.
but, while, on the other hand 都表示转折。
