（1）on the wall在墙体表面上，如：
There is a map on the wall. 在墙上有张地图。
（2）in the wall是指在墙体内，如：
There is a door in the wall. 在墙上有个门。
4．on the bed和in bed
表示物品在床上要用介词on，bed前要用冠词，或其他限定词，特指在那张床上。若表示人躺在床上要用介词in，而且bed前无任何限定词。如：
①His grandpa is in bed. 他的爷爷躺在床上。
②My bag is on my bed. 我的包在我的床上。
5．bring和take
（1）bring意思为“带来、带到、带给”，表示“把……从别的地方带过来”。如：
Bring me the book, please. 请把书给我带来。
Could you bring me that coat? 请你把我的那件外套带来，好吗？
（2）take意思为“拿走、带走”，表示“把……从此处拿、带到其他地方去。”bring和take互为反义词，两者方位相反，如：
Would you please take the desk to the classroom? 请你把这个桌子搬到教室去好吗？
You mustn’t take this book out of the reading-room. 你不可以把这本书带出阅览室。

1．冠词的使用
冠词是放在名词前的一个虚词，本身无独立意义。
冠词分为不定冠词（a，an）和定冠词（the）。

①表示“每一个”的意思，相当于every，如：
He goes to the cinema once a week. 他每周看一次电影。
②表示数量“一”，相当于one，如：
He has a ruler in his pencil-case. 他铅笔盒里有一把尺子。
③当所修饰的名词是以辅音音素开头时，用冠词a，若该名词以元音音素开头时，采用an。如：
an English book，an orange, a map, an hour，a useful book等。
④在某些固定词组中，需要不定冠词，如：a lot of，a bit，have a good time，have a swim，take a walk，have a rest等。
⑵定冠词的用法
①特指某人或某物。如：
The dog behind the door is mine. 门后的那只狗是我的。
②指说话双方都了解的事或人。如：
Let’s go to the playground. 让我们去操场吧。
③讲述上文所提到的人或事。如：
He lives near a river. His child often swims in the river. 他住在一条河的附近。他的孩子经常到这条河里游泳。
④表示世界上独一无二的事物。如：the sun，the moon，the earth等。
⑤用在序数词的前面。如：
We have some classrooms on the second floor. 在第二层我们有几间教室。
⑥某些专有名词前。如：
the U.S.A.，the Summer Palace，the Great Wall等。
⑦用在最高级前。如：
Which is the biggest animal on land？陆地上最大的动物是什么？
⑧用在一些习惯用语中。如：
in the morning/afternoon/evening 在早晨/下午/晚上
⑨用在乐器之前。如：
play the piano 弹钢琴
⑶不用冠词的场合
①在专有名词、物质名词、抽象名词前。如：
China is in Asia. 中国位于亚洲。
We like music. 我们喜欢音乐。
②名词前有this，that，my，some，no，each，every等作修饰词时。如：
His table is useful. 他的桌子很有用。
③可数名词表示一类事物或人时。如：
They are students. 他们是学生。
④表示星期、月份、季节、节日的名词前。如：
I watch TV on Sundays. 我在周日看电视。
